| Sculpt: |
| Renegade Jedi knight Count Dooku of Serreno is leader of the Confederacy of Indepedent Systems, which seeks to break away from the "oppressive" Galactic Republic. He instigated the Clone Wars with an attack against the Jedi Knights on the planet Geonosis. Secretly, he is Darth Tyranus, apprentice to Sith Lord Darth Sidious, the true orchestrator of the Clone Wars and the Separatist movement. This all-new sculpt is based on Dooku's REVENGE OF THE SITH outfit, which is almost identical to his ATTACK OF THE CLONES look. As this figure is a Collection 2 offering, the focus is on articulation a detail. The sculpt is neutral, with the left hand sculpted in an outstretched pose. The right hand is sculpted to hold its lightsaber accessory. The facial likeness to actor Christopher Lee is excellent, far better than his Saga figures were. Rating: 9 out of 10. |

| Paint: |
| Count Dooku's arms, torso, lower body, outer tunic, and legs are molded in dark brown, with his head and hands molded in a pale flesh, and his boots molded in black. There are paint apps to his eyes, hair and beard, with a medium brown app to his belt. His jacket sleeves are painted dark brown to match his tunic. There is a small black paint detail to his lightsaber catch on his belt. Overall, not a lot of paint, but still accurate and cleanly applied: 9/10 |

| Articulation: |
| Dooku's shoulders, elbows and knees are ball-jointed, for extra poseability. His waist, hips, forearms, and neck have planer-cut joints. Two of the joints are meant to be removable, but I'll abstain from mentioning them for those who prefer to remain spoiler-free until the film's release: 9/10. |
| Accessories: |
| Dooku comes with his single-piece lightsaber, which oddly enough is molded in the old clear pinkinsh plastic we associate with POTF2 Darth Vader sabers, and a piece of Separatist Cruiser deck as a base: 9/10. |

| Packaging: |
| The REVENGE OF THE SITH card is almost triangular in shape, and is diecut on the sides and top. The figure insert image is now separate from the ROTS logo/figure name insert. The background is a field of molten lava behind the figure, with a stylized Darth Vader mask looming at the top, forming the J-hook. Silhouettes of Anakin and Obi-Wan dueling can be seen reflected on the Vader helmet. The insert is for Collection 2, of which Count Dooku: Sith Lord is figure #13. The insert photo is a new film image, while the cardback image is a publicity shot. The front blister has the "Sith Lord" sticker on the inside. The cardback shows the figure in a dueling pose, holding the lightsaber in its right hand: 9/10. |

| Availability: |
| Upon initial release on April 2, 2005, Count Dooku was in fair supply. He has sold out at a few stores in less than a week, but I've seen other stores where the figure is still plentiful: 9/10. |
| Conclusion: |
| Count Dooku is almost a cameo character in this film, but those who enjoy super-poseable Sith Lords, or just Christopher Lee-based action figures in general, ought to really enjoy this version of the character: 9/10. |
