Took some loose shots of the Wal*Mart Exclusive AT-ST vehicle with my new camera today and the photos turned out awesome. I was going to take the photos last week, but when I opened up the box and removed the AT-ST Driver I found out that his legs were all deformed and twisted backwards, so I had to go exchange the set for another one. Tired of driving to your local Toys R Us and not finding their Exclusive deluxe sets? I sure am. Twi'lek Jedi Master Aayla Secura crash-lands along with Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano on the planet Maridun in STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS. Secura and Tano must convince the peaceful Lurmen that inhabit the world to help heal an injured Skywalker, even though the Lurmen are opposed to the war. The all-new sculpt is based on the computer-generated animation design for the character. The sculpt adequately captures the new look, which mixes elements of Japanese anime with Gerry Anderson-style marionettes. While basically accurate to the animation, there are some problems with her arms as a result of added articulation. Read More...

Stopped by a local Toys R Us this morning and found The Legacy Collection's Kamino Conflict Batlle Pack. Nothing really special about this set, just some old repacks. Found it odd that Hasbro decided to include some figures that were from the 2002-2004 Saga Toy Line. Added some boxed shots to our Gallery. Images taken using the new camera I just bought.

Q1.) Could we see the Separatist Droid Gunship vehicle (also known as the Heavy Missile Platform [HMP]) or the Multi-Troop Transport (MTT) ever be released in the Legacy Collection or it's upcoming replacement?
Q2.) I have a question about mail away/online exclusive figures. Over the years there have been some really nice choices for these offers like Wuher, Concept General Grievous, Rex, Joker Squad and the upcoming Nahdar Vebb. An interesting thing about many of these figures is that several of them are made from all new tooling but their appeal is largely to the collector market. What I am wondering is how you determine which figures would be best suited to be online exclusives/mail aways, and if this could be a potential avenue to release other collector demanded figures like modern updates of the vintage Droids TV figures or Marvel Star Wars characters?
We have updated our swTracker software program to version 4.8. The update and full version is now available. For those not familiar with this software, its a free checklist program that we offer. All you do is download and install it to your desktop. This is not a web based program like some others offer.

Stopped by a few Walmarts today and found the Clone Wars Desert Skiff with Anakin Skywalker Deluxe set. All the Walmarts I stopped at today had lots of this new Deluxe wave on the Pegs. And yes this skiff is a rehash from the 1995 deluxe set. Added some boxed photos to our Gallery.

In celebration of the original Star Tours attraction, Disney & Hasbro will release the Star Tours Boarding Party action figure set, featuring Star Tours Officer, Kaink, Teek, Ree-Yees and Chewbacca. This set will be a one-time production run, limited to 15,000 pieces. This will launch in May 2010 at the Star Wars Weekends event at Walt Disney World in Florida. Ralph McQuarrie's concept art is striking and imaginative. eFX worked long and hard to bring the Darth Vader McQuarrie Helmet to life. This helmet is not a fashion statement, it's sweet protective head-wear for when you get burned in a lightsaber duel. Pun intended. Also, check out the Boba Fett Artist Portfolio by Joe Johnston. The portfolio features 11 images of Johnston our favorite bounty hunter (no offense Dengar) for use in pre-production. Includes a COA and Joe Johnston's signature.
