I have to be logged onto the internet to use swTracker? |
| Answer: No, swTracker runs from your desktop and does not require
you to be online. |

| 2. Is
swTracker Free? |
Answer: Yes, do not pay anyone for it. |

| 3. Why
do I need Internet Explorer 6 or higher? |
| Answer: Parts of the program uses a newer system file (msxml3.dll) which is part of Internet Explorer 6,
and older versions of Explorer do not have the newer
msxml.dll. |

| 4. How
do I know what version of Internet Explorer I have? |
| Answer: Open Internet Explorer, click "Help" at the
top of the window, select "about Internet Explorer"
and your verson number is displayed in the first line.
Example "Version 5.5.xxxx.xxxx." |

System Requirements: |
| 1. Windows
98, Windows 2000, Windows ME, or Windows XP. |
| 2. Internet Explorer 6 or Higher. |
| 3. Screen Resolution of 800 x 600 or higher. |

How to Install Full Version of Program: |
| 1. Download
the swTracker at bottom of page. |
| 2. Unzip file or run self install using Winzip. |
| 3. Once zip file is unzipped click
on the setup.exe file. |
| 4. Follow
the installation instructions. |
| 5. Installation complete. |
| |
Updating Software Questions: |
| 1. If I need to update swTracker, should I uninstall the complete
program and just install it again? |
| Answer: No, doing this would erase all your saved data. Just update
the older version of the program with the newer update. With
the update you will have the same features as the full version. |

| 2. How
do I know, what version I have? |
| Answer: In the upper left hand corner of the program it displays what
version of the software you have. |

| 3. Will
this update erase any of my saved data? |
| Answer: No, the only way you will loose your saved data is if you un-install
the software or install the Full Program version over your current installation. |

| 4. How
do I update the software? |
Answer: Download the zip file, unzip, and place the file "list.xml" in C:/Program files/swtracker/Datalist/xml
or
if you installed the program in a different location the updated
file must be placed in the swtracker/Datalists/xml folder. |

How to Un-Install Software: |
| 1. Go into your control panel, select add/remove programs, select
swTracker, and chose to un-install. |

Trouble Shooting: |
| 1. Why am I getting a "xml error" when trying to run
the program? |
| Answer: Your Internet Explorer is not version 6 or Higher. You can update your older Explorer with the service
packs from Microsoft. To update your Windows Explorer, use your windows update program, or visit microsoft's website. |
