JediNews has obtained some new Vintage Figure photos from the UK Toy Fair. These are Galen Marek (The Force Unleashed II), Nikto Guard from Return of the Jedi, and Shae Vizla (The Old Republic). Be sure to head over to JediNews to check out all the photos of these figures.

Looks like my local Toys R Us is not paying attention to the 2012 Star Wars toys street date of 1/30/2012 because there Star Wars section was fully stocked today. I was able to pick up the 3 new Vintage vehicles, Pod Racers figure set, and Maroon Battle Droid figure. Happy Hunting!

Added to our 2012 Clone Wars Gallery today, is a card front preview image of the Republic Troopers Battle Pack. This set has some cool repaints. Included in this Battle Pack are Clone Trooper Hardcase, Clone Trooper Cutup, and Bomb Squad Trooper. Enjoy the photo.

I went ahead and added some card front preview photos of the 2012 Movie Heroes Battle Packs. These 2 sets are:

These Battle Pack are no longer boxed and have been placed on cards. It look like these figures are repacks from 2002. I have no idea why Hasbro has chosen these instead of using more current figures with better sculpts and articulation.

My local Walmart let some more 2012 Star Wars toys slip though the 1/30/2012 street date as I found the 2012 Sebulba's Pod Racer, Anakin Skywalker's Pod Racer, Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator, and AAT Trade Federation Tank vehicles last night. Price was $24.96 each. These are just repacks and should be available just about everywhere at the end of the month.

Today I have posted some card front preview photos of the 2012 Movie Heroes figures to hold you over until we get the loose photos posted. There are a total of 12 figures in this wave, with 1 variant. There is a tan and maroon Battle Droid figure in the mix. Enjoy the photos.

I have been getting a lot of emails from our readers requesting some preview photos of the new 2012 Clone Wars figures that I have not photographed yet. So I have uploaded some preview card front pictures from wave 1. Check them out in our 2012 Clone Wars Basic figures Gallery. Just want to mention that these are our images and not Hasbros.

Our first entry in the 2012 Movie Heroes Gallery is the Darth Maul MH05 figure. This is the Darth Maul figure with the dials in his back to spin his lightsaber and move his right arm up and down. This figure barely has any articulation and can only stand in pretty much one position. As a collector I find the sculpt and paint to be just awful. Now if you bought this for your 5 year old, they would probably like it. Be sure to check out the photos.

Another addition to our 2012 Clone Wars Gallery today, here is the Savage Opress CW3 figure. It does not look like there was any changes to this figure and he is just a repack. So if you missed this figure the first time around, now is your chance to get him again.  These are all new figure photos as I  did not recycle the 2011 Savage Opress CW55 pictures. Enjoy.

Added to our Gallery is the Phase 2 Clone Commander Cody CW7 figure from the 2012 Clone Wars Toy Line. The figure looks like it really has been slimmed down and has lots of articulation including ankles. One odd thing is Cody has a Pistol Holster on the front of his Propulsion Pack, but Hasbro did not include a Pistol. Maybe it will be included in the future? Enjoy the photos.

Today we update our Photo Gallery with the 2012 Clone Wars Clone Trooper - Phase II Armor CW2 figure. This figure looks to be a mix of old and new parts. Overall the figure looks pretty good. As far as articulation he is lacking ankle joints. Enjoy the pics.

The 2012 Anakin Skywalker CW1 figure has been added to our Gallery. Hasbro has finally updated Anakin for 2012 and he turned out pretty good. He no longer resembles Michael Bay and he actually has a flesh painted neck. Only complaint is the Firing Lightsaber Launcher. It just looks so out of place and goofy, but if I was a 5 year old child I am sure I would like it. Enjoy the photos.

Ok folks we are kicking off our 2012 Clone Wars Gallery with the Chewbacca CW9 figure. The sculpt itself has not changed from the 2011 Clone Wars Chewbacca CW63 figure, but Hasbro has changed the paint application a bit and he now looks much better. And the luck continues. Today I found the first wave of the 2012 Clone Wars and Battle Packs at my local Walmart. The first wave of Clone Wars includes 10 figures and as for the Battle Packs there are 3. Price on the Clone Wars figures are $8.96 each and $19.96 each for the Battle Packs. Just a reminder the 2012 toys are not suppose to hit retail shelves until 1/30/2012, but some are due to slip through.

Found the 2012 Movie Heroes and Deluxe Figures at my local Walmart yesterday. There are a total of 13 Movie Heroes figures if you include the variants of the tan and red Battle Droids. I myself have only seen the tan version so far, but the red variant is out there as you can buy it on eBay as we speak. The first wave of deluxe figures includes 4 different sets. Price on the Movie Heroes figures were $7.96 each and $16.96 for the Deluxe sets.
