| Sculpt: |
| General of the Grand Army of the Republic and member of the Jedi Council, Ki-Adi-Mundi confers with his fellow council members via holonet from the planet Mygeeto in REVENGE OF THE SITH. This figure uses the same mold as the EPISODE I figure version of Ki-Adi-Mundi, as played by Silas Carson in all three Prequel Trilogy films. It was a decent figure for the Episode I line, but we've seen such great improvements on these figures since then (such as the ROTS version, which had lots of softgoods and great articulation). For a holographic version, though, this is about as good as we'll ever get. 7 out of 10. |

| Paint: |
| There are no paint applications on the holographic figures, which are molded in translucent blue plastic that has silver flakes in it: 5/10. |
| Articulation: |
| Planer-cut neck, shoulders, waist, and hips. Barely even an action figure, by today's standards: 6/10. |
| Accessories: |
| Character-specific figure stand and translucent blue lightsaber: 6/10. |
| Packaging: |
| The same The Saga Collection card as the rest of the series, with a character-specific background image--in this case, the holographic situation table in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, where Ki-Adi-Mundi is seen between images of Yoda and Aayla Secura. The insert image is a close-up from the film, and has The Saga Collection logo to the right of the character image. To the far left are the five orange-rimmed, white triangular arrows indicating the placement of the Exclusive Hologram Figure. The figure's name is just below TSC logo, with its collection number (Holographic Ki-Adi-Mundi is Saga #027) just to the right. The cardback features a film shot of holographic Ki-Adi, and has text that explains the character, along with the diecut display area for the Exclusive Hologram Figure: 8.5/10. |

| Availability: |
| As of this writing, the figure has been appearing at retail for almost two months. It sold out instantly on initial release, but soon became one of the two main pegwarmers of the Coruscant wave. It was increased in later waves, and is now readily available; it is also available from most online sources: 8.5/10. |
| Conclusion: |
| This is one of those figures that could have remained unmade and I doubt anyone would have cared or complained. But, since we already had holographic versions of Yoda, Ploo Koon, and Aayla Secura, they might as well toss us a Ki-Adi-Mundi, too. It's not a great figure, but it doesn't totally stink, either: 6.8/10. |
