| Coruscant fire suppression vehicle pilot that assists in the crash-landing of the Separatist flagship INVISIBLE HAND, piloted by Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, as seen in REVENGE OF THE SITH. The Firespeeder Pilots aiding in the controlled crash of the ship sprayed the burning hulk's hull with fire suppression foam from their small, highly maneuverable crafts. Once on the ground, these teams advance on the wreck with portable foam-suppression backpacks that feed high-pressure foam sprayers. Although the characters are but briefly glimpsed in the film, the sculpt is highly detailed and accurate. It rates a 9 out of 10. |

| Paint: |
| The figure's neck, arms, legs, torso, and pelvis are molded in a medium gray. The head and gloved hands are molded in brown, while the backpack is molded in copper. The head has silver, copper, and gloss black paint applications to the helmet, with coppery-brown oxygen lines leading to the back of the neck. The torso, pelvis, and upper legs have dark brown paint apps for the suit harness and belt, with patches of gray and mustard. The boots have dark brown paint apps with copper details. The backpack has metallic-copper details, as well as a light silver wash for details: 9/10. |

| Ball-jointed neck, shoulders and knees. Hips, waist, and wrists are planer-cut joints; with angle-cut elbows. Excellent articulation for such a minor character: 9/10. |

| The same The Saga Collection card as the rest of the series, with a character-specific background image--in this case, a film image of the crashing INVISIBLE HAND. The insert image is a promotional still, and has The Saga Collection logo to the right of the character image. The figure's name is just below TSC logo, with its collection number (Firespeeder Pilot is Saga #022) just to the right. Just to the figure's left is the new series of five arrows, indicating the placement of the hologram figure. The cardback features a film image from REVENGE OF THE SITH, and has text that explains the character, along with the diecut display area for the Exclusive Hologram Figure: 8.5/10.. |

| As of this writing, the figure has been appearing at retail for two months. It initially sold out instantly, but has been inserted into later cases of earlier waves and is now much easier to find; it is also available from most online sources: 8/10. |

| Conclusion: |
| No one was screaming for this character to be made during the ROTS line, but its inclusion in TSC lead to its being hard-to-find upon release. This was most likely due to completist collectors depleting initial supplies; now that it has been added to refresher cases, the Firespeeder Pilot is a readily available addition to the cast of blink-and-you-miss-'em characters that ended up as great toys! 8.7/10. |
