| Sculpt: |
| Garindan was a Kubaz informant at Mos Eisley, who spots the wanted droids C-3PO and R2-D2 and reports them to Imperial sandtroopers in A NEW HOPE. This is the second Garindan figure in the modern line, although the POTF2 version was decent for its time. This version utilizes all the advancements in sculpting and articulation in the past decade, and it's probably the "ultimate" version of the figure that collectors could ever want. It rates a 9 out of 10. |

| Paint: |
| The figure's head is molded in a charcoal gray, with black, brown, and silver paint decorations for its goggles. The arms, torso, pelvis, and legs are all molded in a medium gray, with only a silver paint application on the left forearm, just above the glove, for some sort of electronic device. The gloved hands and boot-clad feet are molded in black, with medium-gray dry-brushing on both to bring out details. The holster is molded in black, with silver decos and gray dry-brushing. The blaster is silver, with a black wash to weather it. The comlink is white, with black decos. 9/10. |

| Articulation: |
| Ball-jointed neck and shoulders. The wrists, waist, hips, and feet are all planer-cut joints, with angle-cut elbows. This is a very decent amount of articulation for a figure that was a briefly glimpsed character, and the play value here rates 8.5/10. |

| Character-specific figure stand, blaster, comlink, working holster, and removable softgoods cloak. The holster not only holds the blaster, but also has a spot for the comlink: 8.5/10. |

| The same The Saga Collection card as the rest of the series, with a character-specific background image--in this case, an exterior of a Mos Eisley street, swarming with sandtroopers. The insert image is a nice close-up shot of Garindan, and has The Saga Collection logo to the right of the character image. The figure's name is just below TSC logo, with its collection number (Garindan is Saga #034) just to the right. To the left are the five white-orange triangles, indicating the position of the enclosed mini-figure. The cardback features a small film image of Garindan and a sand trooper, with text that explains his role in ANH, along with the diecut display area for the Exclusive Hologram Figure: 8.5/10. |

| Conclusion: |
| While I doubt anyone was screaming for a newer version of Garinda (a.k.a. "Long Snoot"), it's still a great addition to the Mos Eisley wave. 8.5/10 |
